The touch screen technology is known as were we can touch the display of the device trough our finger. A touch screen is a display which can sense the presence and position of a touch inside the display part. The touch screen has two main features like it allow one to work together with what is display straight on the screen, rather than indirectly working from mouse. And the next feature is it will allow to work without requiring ant intermediate device. The screens are sensitive to force and we can work with the computer by touching pictures or words on the screen.
There are three different types of touch screen technology. They are resistive touch screen panel, Surface wave technology and capacitive touch screen panel. A resistive touch screen panel is covered with thin metallic electrically conductive and resistive layers which are affected by outside elements such as dust or water. Surface wave touch screen panels are the most advanced of the three types, but they can be damaged by outside elements. In Capacitive touch screens are not affected by outside elements and it also has high clarity. Touch screens are now a day used in most of the place s like ATMs, ticket machines, etc… The main advantage of touch screen monitors is that they act as both an input and output device.
