The Light Wave technology is the major extension of micro wave technologies and refers to the further development based on the use of light in place of micro waves. The basic rules of light wave nature allows for the propagation in both directions.
Recent Advances in Light Wave technology used to create the one-way structure in which microwave moves losslessly around obstacles. Responding to the growth of this exciting concept, when used micro wave circuits, must one day reduce their internal connection to one-way conduits with improved efficiency and capacity. If a light wave is observed propagating in a one direction, one can also shine a light beam to propagate in the back ground directions.
“One-Way- Road to Simpler Light Wave Technology” was Launched by MIT Researchers. In Previous experimental results with associated micro wave light propagation in this same designed wave guide. But the new implementation concept is , instead of light wave being able to travel to the left or right along with this wave guide- a magnetic field indicate the upwards pointing will allows the light propagation only to the right side and the magnetic field indicate downwards pointing will allows the light propagation to the left side only.
This technology used to many practical applications shut in optical information storage and optical isolations.
